Happy Fourth of July everyone!

Are your lawn refuse bins filling up faster than the city can pick them up?  How about using that refuse to your advantage by composting it?  This week’s podcast, seen below, goes over some of the details for setting up your own compost receptacle.

I am trying to figure out if Ed usded to live in Del Cerro and did the landscaping for the new Del Cerro Park/Pool in the early 60’s. The Del Cerro Pool is having it’s 50th birthday and I see that Ed Hume did the landscaping.. Was that you Ed?

      Hi Laura:
No, Myrna and I have never lived in Del Cerro.
There was/is a landscape architect in California by the name of Ed Hume. Also, a Edward Hume was one of the college professors in Chicago. Last I talked with him he was living in Florida.
      Thanks for asking!

      Ed Hume, Puyallup, Washington
