Clip of the Week: Stump Removal

July 9, 2010 at 8:02 AM 6 comments

Happy Friday, everyone!  Boy, can you believe this weather?  I think Washington is repaying us for the overcast Fourth of July.

This week’s clip gives advice on tree stump removal.  Removing tree stumps can be a long, hard process if done incorrectly, so hopefully this clip can make things a lot easier on you.

As always, our videos can all be found in the iTunes store as well.  Simply search for “Ed Hume”.

That’s all for today.  Have a great weekend, and stay cool!

    Hi Edd,

Nice video and a sensible solution for gardeners everywhere becaue It isnt always necessary to physically extract a stump and what you’re showing here is a quick, simple and effective method of dealing with the problem.

Interesting that you addressed the issue of the roots continuing to grow long after the tree itself has been cut down as thats something most people dont take into account and again, youve addressed it well.

All the best from the Cheshire forests of England..

      Hi there,

I apologize for the late reply. Your message was forwarded to me but somehow went to my spam folder. Sorry about that.

Thank you very much for the compliments! I always appreciate hearing praise from the real professionals. And all my best to everyone in England! You have a beautiful country that I have visited many times and have loved each time.

      Warm regards,
